DAYGO DOGS – TERMS AND CONDITIONS
(Last updated: 26/11/2025)
These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of dog training and related services by Daygo Dogs (“we”, “us”, “our”), a dog training business operating throughout the United Kingdom. By booking or paying for any service, you (“you”, “the Client”) agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Services
1.1 We provide dog training services including (but not limited to) one-to-one sessions, group classes, puppy training, behavioural consultations, and day-training/board-and-train programmes.
1.2 All training is force-free and reward-based.
2. Booking and Payment
2.1 Bookings are confirmed only when payment (or the required deposit) has been received.
2.2 Prices are as quoted at the time of booking.
2.3 We accept payment by bank transfer or other methods shown on our website/invoice.
3. Cancellations and Rescheduling by the Client
Individual appointments / one-to-one sessions
- You may cancel or reschedule free of charge if you give us at least 48 hours’ notice before the scheduled start time.
- Cancellations or rescheduling with less than 48 hours’ notice, or failure to attend (no-show), will incur the full session fee, which is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Packages, courses, workshops, or ongoing programmes
- Once a package or programme has started, you may cancel the remaining services by giving us at least 7 days’ written notice.
- Sessions already delivered will be charged in full. A pro-rata refund (less a £25 administration fee) will be issued for any unused sessions only if 7+ days’ notice is given.
- Less than 7 days’ notice = full remaining balance is forfeited.
All cancellation notices must be sent in writing to hello@daygodogs.co.uk (or the current email address we provide).
4. Cancellations by Daygo Dogs
4.1 We may cancel or reschedule sessions for any reason (e.g., trainer illness, extreme weather, venue issues) and will give you as much notice as possible.
4.2 In the event of our cancellation, you will receive a full refund or an alternative date at no extra cost.
5. Cooling-Off Period (Distance/Off-Premises Contracts)
5.1 If the contract was made away from our usual business premises (e.g., at your home) or entirely by phone/email/online, you have a 14-day statutory cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2015.
5.2 If you ask us to start work within those 14 days and we do so, you lose the right to a full refund for services already provided if you later cancel.
6. Client Responsibilities
6.1 You must provide full and accurate details of your dog’s health, vaccination/titre status, behaviour history, and any bite incidents.
6.2 Dogs must be fully vaccinated (or titre-tested) and treated for worms and fleas unless we agree otherwise in writing.
6.3 You remain fully responsible and liable for your dog’s actions at all times.
7. Health and Safety
7.1 We reserve the right to refuse or end a session (without refund) if a dog or person presents an unacceptable safety risk.
7.2 You must inform us immediately of any contagious illness or injury.
8. Liability
8.1 Our liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the specific service concerned.
8.2 We hold public liability and professional indemnity insurance.
8.3 We are not responsible for any injury, loss, death, or damage to dogs, people, or property except where caused by our proven negligence.
9. Intellectual Property
All training materials, videos, and handouts remain the property of Daygo Dogs and may not be copied, shared, or resold without written permission.
10. Data Protection
We process personal data in accordance with UK data-protection legislation (UK GDPR) and our Privacy Policy.
11. Complaints
Please contact us in writing if you have any issue. We will try to resolve it quickly and fairly. If we cannot, you may be able to use an approved alternative dispute resolution service.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales (or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts).
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version on our website at the time of your booking applies.
